Urban Music
I asked a question in the Forums a couple days ago... I referenced a question I have been vocal in saying Urban Music has always been scapegoated for nonsense when we have several festivals in the United Kingdom catered to a rock crowd, which for the most part doesn't seem violent.
I love all rock music as it all originally fits the Urban mould anyway, I mean when rock started in the early Fifties it was regarded as "demon music" and the music which it derived from [Jazz] was refered to as "devil music" also.
Isn't it crazy how things change? Amy Winehouse doing Jazz, Indie Rock being predominantly referred to as the preferred sound of most older generation [and younger] white people. This ain't a black & white thing, it's more of an understanding thing.
I mean take for example the incident last year [14th Aug 2007]. The newspapers covered a story where a Hells Angels "rock" festival had literally spilled out of control with several gangs feuding. This led to the shooting of a Hells Angel on the M40: He was pronounced dead.
I'm not saying stop the festivals, I'm saying this is lfe in the years 2000. Our own government is at war illegally so what is expected of the people? Let the Urban festivities begin... Written by D-Raw
